River Canoeing

You can’t say you really know the Gaspé Peninsula unless you’ve seen the hidden beauties of its backcountry. To help you discover this enchanting world, we organise intimate encounters with three exceptional Gaspé rivers: the Dartmouth, York and Saint-Jean. Even native Gaspesians are astounded by their beauty!

Rivière St-Jean
Well known to salmon fishers, this majestic river winds through the mountains; with unforgettable scenery along the way. Its natural force leaves no-one, either beginners or experts, unaffected.

Rivière York
Breathtaking cliffs from which spill waters of an exceptional purity, meanders fashioned by glaciers, renowned salmon pools deep in the heart of soaring canyons… it’s no less than awe-inspiring!

Rivière Darmouth
From the moment you take to the water at the base of the waterfall, you will be gripped with admiration for this river, whose most frequent visitors are the salmon you can see if you manage to tear your eyes away from the surrounding mountains and valleys.

And why not use the lesson as an opportunity for an outing adapted to your aspirations! If you want, you can combine your lesson with a true excursion; you’re sure to take pride in your performance! And we will be proud to see your smile of satisfaction when you say, “Hey, I did it!”
